the present continues works to talk about facts that are happening right now and have not finished. Also,the Present Continuous is mainly used to express the idea that something is happening at the moment of speaking. The Present Continuous also describes activities generally in progress.

for the use of the present continues tense is necessary to add "ING" after the main verb.

ALWAYS  when we are talkin in present continuous is MANDATORY  to use the verb to be; Let's remember how it works.

I am studying English at the school.
You are reading this blog
He is playing soccer in the playgroud
She is swimming in a lake
It is being easy to understand
We are watching a movie
They are writing an essay.

the verbs which the en is  CONSONANT  VOVEL CONSONANT  has to repeat the last consonat to form the present continues  example:

SWIM  = SWIMMING 
SIT    = SITTING
GET   = GETTING
